In 1882 Giuseppe Lochis known as “Polot” was born. At the beginning of the 1900’s.
Since the beginning, passion and dedication have distinguished the Lochis family who tirelessly work to improve themselves and improve their products, thus giving a characterizing and unmistakable imprint to everything that will come in the future.
The second generation started the production of sugar-based syrups. Evolution and research continue over time with the following generations, up to developing syrups and introducing fruit-based semi-finished products with a brand that will prove to be fundamental for the rise of General Fruit: Polot 1882.
The characteristics of stubbornness, honesty, curiosity, and faith in the future, typical of “Polot”, have passed through the 5 generations that separate it from what General Fruit has become today and from those who have inherited all its qualities.
In homage to the memory of the indefatigable “Polot” a new line of Polot 1882 products has been born which bears his name and which contains the work of a lifetime in each reference.
